The wife of the famous football player David Beckham – Victoria Caroline Beckham is a singer, model, fashion designer and businesswoman from England. She became popular with her pop group Spice Girls, 1990s. Since the group split, Beckham has been busy with her own booming solo music career and has signed contracts with Telstar Records and Virgin Records.
Additionally, she has published two books cited as being bestsellers, one is an autobiography of her life and the other is a fashion guide. Moreover, she has been a part of electronic media as well by participated in reality shows and documentaries about her, such as The Real Beckhams, Being Victoria Beckham, and Victoria Beckham: Coming to America. Victoria Beckham was born on 17th April 1974 in Essex at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow and grew up in Hertfordshire. Her mother was a former hairdresser and insurance officer and her father was an electronic engineer. Her parents established a wholesale business of electronics to provide a comfortable life to their children Victoria, Christian and Louise. In 1980, when Victoria watched Fame, a musical movie, she subsequently became fond of the field and decided to pursue it as a career. Hence, she joined Jason Theatre School. In 1991, she started going to Laine Theatre Arts to study modeling and dance.
In addition to her love for music, she showed interest in fashion as well. Beckham is internationally photographed and acclaimed as a style idol. Her fashion career involves designing a collection of jeans for Rock & Republic. She later designed her own brand of denim, called dVb Style. Beckham also launched a range of perfumes and sunglasses in the United States and the United Kingdom. In collaboration with Samantha Thavasa & Shiatzy Chen, she produced an array of jewellery and handbags.
In 2000, she made an appearance on the runway for Maria Grachvogel and thus launched herself as a model for the first time at London Fashion Week. Moreover, she acted for Dolce and Gabbana as an ambassador and in 2003 was Rocawear‘s face for a short while. In 2006, she appeared on the ramp at Milan Fashion Week for Roberto Cavalli . Furthermore, Victoria Beckham launched her first perfume and American stores in 2007 and then released another range of fragrances and her first cosmetics collection V-Sculpt in Tokyo. A year later, she was Marc Jacobs’s face for his spring collection and during this year she also displayed her debut fashion line at Waldorf Hotel in New York Fashion Week. She maintained her image of a fashion diva by being featured on the covers of Vogue, thrice.
As for her personal life, she began dating David Beckham in 1997 when she had no idea who he was since she had no interest in football. A year later, they got engaged and in 1999 they got married. The two have four kids: Brooklyn Joseph, Cruz David, Romeo James, and Harper Seven.
