Born on 18th April 1979, Kourtney Mary Kardashian is an American TV personality, fashion designer and socialite. She became popular after being casted in Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Keeping Up With The Kardashian, and Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami. She is the eldest among the children of Kris Jenner and Robert Kardashian.
Kourtney was born in California’s most posh city Beverly Hills. Her sisters, Kim and Khloé are fashionable just like her. She also has step-siblings after her mother remarried. Kourtney studied at Los Angeles’s Marymount High School. She then moved to Texas and joined Dallas’s Southern Methodist University. Later on, she moved to Tucson and did her bachelor in theater art from University of Arizona.
Kourtney came into limelight for reality TV audiences in 2004 in a series called Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive. Later on, she did shows with her sisters about their extended family. She made a debut as an actress in One Life to Live, an ABC soap in 2011. She faced some criticisms about her not so great acting.
Kourtney Kardashian opened clothing stores for children with her mother in Los Angeles and New York. The boutiques were called Smooch and they shelved Crib Rock Couture brand. Kourtney owns and manages another clothing store, called D-A-S-H. The co-owners of this boutique that is in New York, Miami and Los Angeles, are Khloe and Kim.
The Kardashian sisters are involved in endorsement contracts as well. They are the spokeswomen for Quick Trim, a weight-loss supplement. A five million dollar case was also filed against them and the company for deceptive and false marketing of the product. Kourtney Kardashian and her sisters also represent Perfect Skin, a skincare collection for Perfect Science Labs by Dr. Ron DiSalvo.
In addition to this, the sisters created a jewelry collection for Virgins, Saints and Angels. The debut of the collection happened in 2010. They produced twenty pieces inspired by their Armenian heritage. In the same year, Kourtney opened a new fashion line with her sisters for Bebe. In August, Kourtney informed the media that she will open create clothing brand with Kim and Khloe, called K-Dash – an affordable clothing line sold on QVC, reflecting the style of Kardashian sisters.
Coming on to their skin care ventures, in 2010 the sisters produced the Kardishian Glamour Tan.
Moreover, Kourtney wrote Kardashian Konfidential, a book with her sisters in November. It is an autobiography of their childhood and sisterhood. It includes those facts that are not shown in the media – fun secrets about their lives and much more.
Apart from her professional life with her sisters, Kourtney has had an adventurous personal life as well. In 2006, she started dating a businessman, model and television personality – Scott Disick and has two children with him. In 2013 however a case was filed against Disick by Michael Girgenti that Girgenti was the father of Kourtney’s son. After much mess, Kourtney announced it clearly that Scott is the father and there are no doubts about it.
